The "Reality Check" Clause

Most Terms & Conditions are written to confuse you. Ours are written to protect both of us. We deal with perishable goods, hot kitchens, and real traffic. Things go wrong. These terms define how we handle reality.

1. The Contract

These Terms of Use govern your access to the FoodHero Platform (Website/App). By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Entity: Services are provided by FoodHero Ventures Private Limited, a subsidiary of Manaspurti Technologies.

2. The "House of Brands" Scope

FoodHero acts as the unified platform for multiple culinary brands (Shah Biryani, Jeevras, Wanlok, etc.). While standards are centralized, each brand represents a distinct culinary product.

3. Dynamic Pricing & "The Onion Logic"

We operate on a transparent cost-plus model. However, food prices fluctuate.

  • If onion prices triple during monsoon, our prices may adjust dynamically.
  • We strive to keep subscription prices locked, but we reserve the right to adjust pricing with 7 days' notice.
  • Refunds: If we fail to deliver, you get a 100% refund. If you dislike the taste, we offer credits, not cash refunds, as taste is subjective.

4. The "Kitchen Lock-In" (Cancellations)

Waste is a tax on humanity. To minimize waste:

  • On-Demand Orders: Cannot be cancelled once the kitchen accepts the order (usually within 60 seconds).
  • Subscriptions: Must be paused or skipped 4 hours before the delivery slot. If you cancel after food is prepped, you will be charged. We will donate that meal to a local shelter.

5. Health, Allergies & "Swachhta"

We adhere to Swachhta.com verification standards. However:

  • Our kitchens handle nuts, dairy, gluten, and soy. While we have strict separation protocols, we cannot guarantee 0% cross-contamination for severe, life-threatening allergies.
  • You are responsible for correctly tagging your allergens in the App. We are not liable for adverse reactions if you fail to disclose allergies.

6. Code of Conduct: Kindness Policy

We do not tolerate abuse towards our Delivery Partners or Support Staff.

If you are found to be abusive, violent, or discriminatory, we reserve the right to permanently ban you from the FoodHero ecosystem. We protect our missionaries.

7. Limitation of Liability

FoodHero Ventures shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Panaji, Goa.
