1. The Data We Collect (And Why)

We only collect what is necessary to get hot, safe food to your door.

• Identity Data: Name, Phone Number, Delivery Address.
  Reason: So our delivery partners can find you.
• Health Data (Sensitive): Allergies, Dietary Restrictions (e.g., Jain, Vegan), Health Goals.
  Reason: To ensure we don't serve you allergens and to personalize the Freedom Card meal plans.
• Financial Data: Payment history.
  Reason: We do not store card details. This is handled by our RBI-compliant payment gateway partners (Razorpay/Stripe). We only see the transaction status.
• Technical Data: Device ID, IP Address, App Usage.
  Reason: To prevent fraud and debug crashes in the FoodHero app.

2. How We Share Data

We do not sell your data. We are a sustainable business model; we make money on food, not ads.

We only share data with:

• Manaspurti Technologies (Parent): For centralized analytics across our House of Brands.
• Logistics Partners: Only your name, phone, and location are shared to fulfill delivery.
• Legal Authorities: If required by a court order in India.

3. Data Retention & The "Right to be Forgotten"

We retain your order history to analyze food trends (e.g., "Biryani demand peaks on Fridays").

However, you own your data. If you wish to delete your account:

1. Email support@foodhero.in with the subject "Delete My Data".
2. We will wipe your personal identifiers (Name, Email, Phone) from our active database within 72 hours.
3. We adhere to the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act standards.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart. We do not use third-party tracking cookies to follow you around the internet. We don't care what you buy on Amazon.
